Scallops with Garlic Cream Sauce

Scallops are one of my favorite seafood. Today, since my hubby's bestie Din is at our pad, I decided to make the above as a starter.

Recipe:

Scallops

1/3 cup butter
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon flour
5 garlic cloves (Diced finely)
1 teaspoon dried basil
2 teaspoon dried oregano
salt & pepper

Direction:

In a small pan, melt butter and add garlic. Cook until garlic turns golden (Don't burn them).
add the flour and whisk for 1 minute and slowly add the milk while whisking. Once you reach the saucy consistency, add the basil & oregano and add salt and pepper.

Pour the whole sauce in a plate.

Season the scallop with salt & pepper and pan fry for 2 minutes in each side. Once done, arrange the scallops on top of the creamy garlic sauce. Serve immediately.
